Overview

William Hughes is a results-driven attorney with experience in oil and gas, real estate, and construction law, providing practical legal solutions for complex projects and transactions. He advises clients on commercial contracts, project development, regulatory compliance, and risk management, ensuring that legal strategies align with operational and business objectives.

William began his career in oil and gas as Counsel at Dale Operating Company before serving as Associate General Counsel at Tricolor Holdings, where he oversaw contracts, commercial transactions, and corporate and regulatory compliance initiatives for the company’s large-scale operations.

A native of Fort Worth, William graduated from Duke University before returning to Texas to earn his Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law. Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, climbing mountains, keeping up with Duke Athletics, and spending time with his dog, Nik.
