Overview
Austin Havens is a civil litigator based in Griffith Davison’s Austin office. His practice focuses on representing clients in a wide range of business disputes, construction, real estate, and governmental compliance matters. Austin enjoys communicating with clients and getting to know them personally so that he can better serve them professionally.
Originally from Northern California, he moved to Austin, Texas, and began his career in technology before transitioning to law. During law school, he interned with the general counsel of a professional sports team and clerked with a district judge in Travis County. Since 2023, Austin has been litigating successfully in state court, federal court, and administrative hearings, and he has extensive experience representing state agencies in enforcement matters. Before joining Griffith Davison, he served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Texas Attorney General’s office.
Outside of work, Austin enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, playing basketball, swimming, running, and biking.
